The weather in Tasmania for many months now has been thick cloud, mild temperatures and too much rain.

Almost everyday there are Ice Clouds way up high, and lower down there are condensation clouds.

The Ice Clouds are filamentous, “strands of hair” like, lovely to the eye

or sometimes these ice crystals are as a pattern of packets (squarish) or the sky is just plain white out.

The condensation clouds have little structure, they are fog fields, fuzzy, and these are lower down than the very high Ice Clouds.

In the evening/morning, each height layered cloud formation glows vivid reds and purples at different times of the sunset/rise. The last/first sunbeams illuminate the high Ice Clouds setting them ablaze in colour, while the lower clouds will be grey to black

Often the night sky is a dim metallic blue for quite a while after sunset; an afterglow due to the very high Ice Clouds up above still reflecting light.

Lately, everything is green and starting to flower. It is Spring for us, and the presence of Ice Clouds has reduced to almost every day.

The temperature is rising because the day length is growing. Nice weather
